He formerly lived in Toledo, OH, where he retired from the postal service, and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was born December 19, 1902 in Chicago to Howard and Grace Newland Bowen. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Paul H. Emerson; a son, Dr. Michael Emerson of Winthrop, MA; a daughter, Dr. Isabelle Emerson of Las Vegas, NE; two sisters, Eleanor J. Pigford for Grand Junction, CO and Mary E. Schoeppe of Juneau, AK; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. TUCSON, ARIZONA: Nancy Loughney, 66, died January 9, 2003. The other two candidates are nurse Julie Willoughby, who ran a campaign with Harris and narrowly lost a second seat in the House of Representatives to her; and retired natural-gas worker Steve Steele, who appeared in a June 7, 2021, video about retrieving shredded ballots from a dumpster at the Maricopa County Elections office in Phoenix. Survivors include two brothers, Floyd Gipson of Elfrida, AZ, and William E. Gipson of South Gate, CA; and a sister, Flora Maxine Hughes of South Gate, CA. *** He was born October 6, 1889 in Missouri.
